J. Everett Bettis is a native of Detroit, Michigan and a graduate of Michigan State University where he majored in Finance and Business Administration.  He worked for several large profile law firms before he finally decided to pursue his dream of writing.  After much convincing from his mother he decided to sit down and finally begin writing Children of the Skies.  At first, the story started as a hobby but quickly turned into something more serious.  

 

The entire story for Children of the Skies, from beginning to end, came to him in a dream.  Along with several other stories as well.  Now J has completed his first three novels and has began writing several other stories as well, including two screenplays.  He has now fully immersed himself in the craft of writing and decided to relocate to Los Angeles, California to pursue his dream.
